These doll clothes are authentic replicas of traditional Guatemala clothing ("traje") from a wide variety of towns and are created using traditional Mayan fabrics from all over Guatemala. They are handmade by Mayan women who are trying to improve the lives of their families by creating a viable crafts business. These women are mothers of children who attend school at EDELAC's Las Rosas Centro Formativo Comunitario. (Be sure to check out the other examples pictured below.)

By buying these authentic replicas, you are helping to support the women and their families in their determination to improve their own lives.
